Privacy Policy

Edrizz (“Edrizz,” “we,” “us”) is a college-preparation platform for students in grades 9–12: gamified test prep for the SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, and ACT; university matching; essay and resume tools; and a personal planning corner. This policy explains what we collect through the Edrizz web app, why, and what choices you have.

Account information.When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. We don’t receive your Google password, and we don’t collect any other Google account data beyond basic profile identifiers.

Profile & planning data. Grade level, curriculum, GPA, target countries and majors, university shortlists, and the tasks and deadlines you set up in Personal Corner.

Practice & assessment activity. Quiz answers, mock exam attempts and scores, XP and level progress, essay drafts, resume content, and written responses you submit for Writing assessment.

Speaking-assessment audio. If you use IELTS or TOEFL Speaking assessment, we store the audio recording you submit, along with its transcript and score. The recording is transcribed by a speech-to-text model that runs on our own servers — the raw audio is never sent to a third party for transcription.

Waitlist & contact information. If you join the mobile app waitlist, we collect the email you provide.

• To run the product: score quizzes and mocks, track level/XP progress, and generate your university shortlist and Personal Corner tasks.
• To generate AI-assisted feedback: text you submit for Essay, Writing, and Speaking assessment (transcripts, not raw audio) is sent to Google's Gemini API to produce a band/score and written feedback.
• To communicate with you about your account, such as sign-in confirmations or service updates.
• To maintain and improve the platform, including diagnosing bugs and understanding feature usage in aggregate.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your essays, recordings, or transcripts to train third-party AI models — they’re sent to Gemini solely to generate your feedback for that submission.

Edrizz shares data with a small number of service providers, and no one else:

• Google — for sign-in (OAuth) and for Gemini API calls that generate AI feedback on submitted text.
• Our cloud infrastructure provider (Google Cloud Platform) — hosts the application and database. Infrastructure providers process data on our behalf and don't use it for their own purposes.

We do not use ad networks, and we do not share your data with data brokers. If Edrizz introduces paid subscriptions with a third-party payment processor, this policy will be updated before that processor handles any billing information.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Speaking-assessment recordings and transcripts are kept so you can review past submissions and progress over time. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 9).

Edrizz is built for students in grades 9–12 and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we’ll remove it. For users under 18, we encourage a parent or guardian to review this policy with them.

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, access controls, and secret management for credentials — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe and to respond quickly if that ever changes.

Edrizz uses a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We don’t use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

You can access, correct, or delete your personal information, or ask us what data we hold about you, by emailing azra@edrizz.com. We’ll respond and act on verified requests within a reasonable time.

We may update this policy as Edrizz adds features (like live billing). We’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, make a reasonable effort to notify you.
